Job Title: Sales and Purchasing Executive (Vegetables and Salads)
Context
GFS Fresh Ltd is an established fresh produce company sourcing on a worldwide basis as well as in the UK. Trading in both fresh and semi -prepared produce we are looking for an experienced individual to continue and enhance our relations ships with our customers in the wholesale , food service and catering sectors of the industry
GFS are highly accredited holding BRC AA status as an example .
Responsibilities
This is an ideal position for an enthusiastic ambitious trader who will be rewarded for their contribution to the company’s success
- You should have a track record in the vegetable and/or the salad industry
- You will be encouraged to initiate new supply contacts as well as new customers over and above those already working with the company
- We will integrate you into the trading team at GFS and you will be given full training in the company’s systems and procedures
- Communicating with our other sites and in addition to your own contacts , our established suppliers and customers when required .
- You will work from our offices at Coates , near Peterborough and will report to the Directors of the company
- You will need to be computer literate as part of your position will be in the input of trading information into the company’s commercial and administration system
Profile
We are looking for a candidate who will have had probably at least 3 years experience in a similar position .
