One of Egypt's top agri-industrial cooperatives has just placed an order for three Pellerano-branded chain mulchers. These are top-quality, modern, fuel-efficient and easy-to-maintain pieces of equipment that are perfect for weed management in all types of crops.

"The sale includes the top model (ALG240), the largest in the catalog, capable of grinding up to 1.2 hectares per hour thanks to its working diameter of 2.40 m. We are in the process of completing the assembly of the components and then proceeding with the painting of the sheet metal. We expect to leave for Egypt by the end of the month. This is not the first time that we have had an order from a non-EU country, but it is the first time that we have had a request for 3 parts at once. After all, we're talking about the largest sugar beet processing plant in the world. It's a group with about 76,000 hectares under cultivation and the cooperation of more than 6,000 farmers."
The transport of the Pellerano mulchers is entrusted to an external company that delivers the products to the customer's destination. The products are shipped from the port of Brindisi and unloaded at the port of Alexandria. "The simplicity and robustness of our equipment make it very interesting for extreme environments," says the manager. "In the case of the Egyptian customer, there are no stones and/or rocks in the ground, but rather the need to use the vehicle for several hours throughout the day, and therefore the need to have advantages in terms of working speed, fuel saving and benefits in terms of cost and maintenance time. Pellerano machines can mulch all types of weeds (even very compact grasses, reeds, all types of rushes, blackberries, acacias). They can also prune."
