The 9th edition of the International Berry Congress, organized by Freshuelva, will take place on June 19 and 20 at the Casa Colón in Huelva, Spain, which will once again host the most important event for the berry sector at a global level.
The organization is gearing up for a new edition of a congress that has already become the main meeting point for producers, marketers and auxiliary companies, both nationally and internationally. Attendees will discuss and analyze the present and future of a sector that is predominantly focused on the export of berries such as strawberries, blueberries, raspberries or blackberries, which stand out for their health benefits.
In fact, the promotion of the health benefits of berries will be one of the topics addressed at a congress that will also tackle other issues of concern to the sector, including the water supply, disinfection, marketing in new markets or the socio-economic value of this productive activity.
The organizing committee of the 9th International Berry Congress is already working on the design of the official program, which will be complemented with technical conferences given by various companies, to be held also at the Casa Colón during the two days of the event.
