Colliers brings Cheeky Farms to the market

Colliers Agribusiness has listed Cheeky Farms, a large mango operation in the Northern Territory, spanning four properties and 283 hectares of orchards. Situated roughly an hour from Darwin, in the Lambells Lagoon and Berry Springs areas, with additional land in Marrakai for expansion, the operation is noted for its comprehensive services and proximity to export markets. The farms predominantly cultivate Kensington Pride and R2E2 mango varieties, significant contributors to Australia's mango output, and boast substantial water licenses and infrastructure enhancements, including a large packing shed and cool rooms.

Australia's mango industry, with the Northern Territory as a key player, produces around 40,000 tons annually, significantly impacting the local economy. Recent trade developments have further opened international markets to Australian mangoes, highlighting the industry's growth potential. Despite the dominance of imports from Mexico, Australian mangoes have begun making their mark in the U.S. market.
